This Peace website grew out of a project called: .   You can check out the stories, profiles and activities and watch the video clips found on this website, or you can order the for yourself here. Either way, we’re glad you’re here and that you’re interested in the topic of peace.

We were intrigued by the definition for peace that Matt Whitten (that's him -> ) gave when we were interviewing him:

Peace is when everything is the best it can be.

And we asked the question:

“But what can one person do?”

We found answers from the people we talked to. Many of them--
(and pretty much everyone else)
--wouldn’t consider themselves peace activists, yet they are trying to make something in their world “the best it can be.” Read their stories and listen to the video clips.  Then choose some of the activities in “You Can Do This” throughout this site and give it a try – you can help make the world a more peaceful place.

If you do something that worked really great for you, or if you have a story you’d love to tell, go to www.thirdway.com and add your own story to this website.  Or just go to this section and read what others are doing.

Together, let’s make the world the best it can be – a peaceful place in which to live and work and play.

Do peace!
